If you are about to undergo Teeth Whitening in Newcastle, then you probably have a few questions about everything from preparing for the procedure, to what you can eat afterwards. Below you will find some tips on what you can eat, when you can eat it, and how to prepare for the procedure to begin with.
The first thing you will need to know before your Teeth Whitening at Dentistry is whether to brush your teeth before the procedure or not. If you have an early morning, or afternoon treatment, then you will want to brush your teeth with white toothpaste only. After the treatment, you will want to avoid colored mouthwash for at least 48 hours.
If you had an appointment that was scheduled for later in the evening, you will want to refrain from brushing your teeth that night. You can brush your teeth the next morning, but only with white toothpaste, and no colored mouthwash. It is also recommended that you use a soft bristled toothbrush when you are on the all-white diet.
After you have the whitening procedure at Dentistry, your teeth may be sensitive for a while. You can ask your dentist what the best remedy for this is, if it doesn’t get better in a few days, then you will want to let your dentist know, so that further measures can be taken.
There are a few drinks that you can have, and a few that you will want to avoid for at least 48 hours after the procedure.
