With Tucson still growing so quickly, many newcomers to the area are looking to rent. That typically makes good sense, as getting a feel for the sprawling city before committing to buying is almost always a good idea. Couple that with the fact that university students are so important to Tucson and always in need of housing of their own, and rental services in Tucson are thriving.
In fact, much of the most heated activity does center around the University of Arizona campus itself. The famous student tenements that lie directly next to the University on its north side are invariably spoken for early on, with students happily exchanging something in the way of comfort for a truly prime location.
Just a little further north, on the other side of Speedway Boulevard, a wide range of student-oriented apartment buildings are nearly as popular. Offering a little more peace and quiet to students who are somewhat more interested in studying, many of these complexes have been built in the last ten years. Even so, they typically also make provisions for the fun that every college student likes to have from time to time, including quite a bit in the way of amenities like pools, recreation rooms, and hot tubs.
Veterans of area rental services like that at Sitename report that the market is just as strong when it comes to families and other people who have settled down to one extent or another. As in years past, rental properties up toward the foothills of the Santa Catalina mountains remain highly popular, as these units offer a great mix of down town accessibility and beautiful views.
At the same time, the east side of the city has seen something of a resurgence in recent years. Although not quite yet stretching to the eastern division of the Saguaro National Park, a number of new developments along the east-side reaches of Broadway have become some of the city’s most popular in recent years. As with units up north toward Santa Catalina, these newer apartments boast a great mix of commuter-friendly location and peaceful, beautiful surroundings.
