The Honeywell R7847A1033 amplifier is a Honeywell Flame Amplifier that is designed to be used with the 7800 Series Relay. They are designed to respond to a flame failure of 0.8 or 3 seconds with flame signal strengths that can range from 0.0 volts DC to up to 5.0 volts direct current (VDC).
As with all Honeywell system parts and components, the Honeywell R7847A1033 is designed to last. Built with engineering and reliability in mind, these components are durable and rugged and offer a long duty cycle in any type of application.
Small and Compact
The Honeywell R7847A1033 is a small and lightweight component. The external measurements are just two inches in length and five inches in width. The height of the unit is three and three quarts of an inch, with the total weight just 0.3 pounds.
The R7847A1033 can be used with the 7800 Series relay modules, as mentioned above, as well as be used with the Honeywell flame sensor. This includes several options in rectifying flame rods for gas systems. It can also be used for gas, coal, and oil types of systems using the ultraviolet flame sensor.
When used with the 7800 Series relay module, the R7847A1033 is plugged into the relay module printed circuit board. This is done through the edge connector, and it is set up on the printed circuit board to ensure the correct orientation of the R7847A1033. It can also be used with any existing Flam detectors by Honeywell.
Additional Features on the R7847A1033
The R7847A1033 comes complete with a variety of color-coded labels. There are used to identify the flame detection type. This component also completes a self-check to test the specific functions of the flame detection system of the relay module. If there is a flame detection system error, the safety shutdown creates a lockout.
