Nicole Alger, Contemporary Landscape Painter

Some artists stand heads above the others when it comes to talent and skills, and one of these artists is Nicole Alger. She is a classically trained realist painter who currently resides in New York City. For many years after graduating from art school, she concentrated on painting and drawing typical still life, and began to specialize in portraiture and landscape art. Her work is popular, and most pieces have been sold to private clients. She offers a wonderful variety of styles in her paintings, and her work is shown in many popular galleries.

This contemporary landscape painter has spent the past five years doing narrative work that is incredibly imaginative. She gets her inspiration from such popular artists as Degas and Klimt, as well as the European Renaissance masters. She also gets inspiration from religious images painted by artists from the Neo-Classical to the Post-Impressionist eras. These aren’t her only artistic influences, though. A lot of her inspiration comes from the Indian chakra system, Buddhist designs and ideas, and Greek mythology. She is always seeking new ideas for her art, because Nicole Alger is a contemporary landscape painter as well as a painter of life and the world around her.

Much of her current work is focused around abstraction and realism. She is able to create a wonderful balance between the two, and uses her heart for self-knowledge and healing. By using the Indian chakra system, she is able to understand more about herself and her art, and use this understanding to her advantage, creating amazing works of art that are loved by many. The chakra system involves using the seven chakras, or energetic wheels. Each of these chakras shape all human beings, and they are illustrated by color, which is evident in her work.

Being a contemporary landscape painter and using these vibrant colors has established this artist as one who uses a variety of styles to create amazing artwork, using color, light, and shadow to create awesome images. It all starts with a simple idea, and each day more and more is added to create artwork that is inspired by the world around her.
