Dentures, often called false teeth are dental prosthetics that are used to replace natural teeth when they are no longer present. The objective of a denture is to come as close as possible to duplicating the looks of natural teeth. Today, dentures make use of materials such as porcelain and synthetic resins which can hold their appearance for many years as well as holding up to the wear and tear placed on any teeth.
